Senior Finance Transformation Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support end-to-end Finance Transformation programmes across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), FP&A, and Group Reporting.
  • Drive process design, solution workshops, and ERP/EPM implementations (SAP S/4HANA, SAP, Oracle preferred), including AI-enabled finance transformation initiatives.
  • Design and implement Finance Target Operating Models, governance frameworks, controls, and process improvements to optimise finance operations.
  • Manage and engage senior stakeholders, including CFOs, Finance Directors, CIOs, and cross-functional business and IT teams.
  • Support programme delivery through testing, deployment, stabilisation, and adoption activities.
  • Contribute to practice growth and commercial activities, including proposals, client presentations, go-to-market initiatives, and identifying business development opportunities.
  • Drive innovation through automation, AI-led solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives within finance transformation engagements.
Requirements
  • Bcom degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Information Systems
  • 15 + years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst or similar role
  • 10 + years of experience in Management Consulting and / or in a Finance Transformation lead role
  • Experience in finance transformation, with at least 1 ERP Cloud migration under experience, either SAP, Oracle or Workday
  • Professional certifications (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CBAP) are an advantage
  • Core Competencies/knowledge/skills
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles with hands-on experience across GL, AP, AR, FA, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
  • Experience working with ERP/finance systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and strong Excel/financial analysis capabilities.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex business challenges and deliver structured, value-driven solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, with a delivery-focused and commercially minded approach.
