Clinical coordinator
PURPOSE:
The Clinical Coordinator role report to the Head of Department (Natural and Rehabilitative Sciences). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing clinical training and rotations; managing clinical training platforms and resources; liaising with clinical partners; coordinating student placements; and ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and programme requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Clinical Coordination of Training Platform
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A qualification in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Five (5) Years experience of Clinical Experience in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid professional registration as a Speech Therapist/Speech and Hearing Therapist with the HPCSA.
ADDED ADVANTAGES:
- Experience in student supervision and coordination of clinical placements.
- Valid drivers license.
- Basic research skills and experience in academic writing.
- Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in evidence-based practice.
