CNC Operator

We are recruiting a skilled CNC Operator to join our client's expert team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for manufacturing and repair work.
• Load programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate machining.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programming instructions.
• Monitor machining processes and conduct quality inspections on finished parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure workplace safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade Certificate or National Certificate (NQF Level 4) in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and G-code programming.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, materials, and cutting tools.
• Experience working in a high-precision, industrial workshop environment.
