Showroom Assistant - Luxury - Interior/Decor
Location: Western Cape George - Cape TownSALARY: R10 000 - Plus Benefit's
Requirements.- Matric Certificate - Mandatory
- Interior design, visual merchandising, retail is a plus.
- 1–3 years’ experience in retail, preferably in furniture, interior design, home décor, or luxury goods.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and product knowledge abilities.
- Eye for aesthetics, color coordination, and interior styling.
- Organized, with attention to detail and presentation.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and possibly design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Roomstyler).
- Comfortable working on weekends, holidays, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
- Passion for design and luxury furnishings.
- Confidence to interact with affluent clientele and possibly interior designers or architects.
- Greet and assist clients in the showroom with a tailored, consultative approach.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide product specifications, pricing, and fabric/material options.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales service.
