Storeman / dispatch clerk

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating dispatch operations, managing stock movements, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.

• 5 10 years' experience in a Storeman, Dispatch Clerk, or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and dispatch operations.
• Computer literacy with experience working on Accpac.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and dispatch activities.
• Accurately pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Ensure all dispatched goods are correctly documented and recorded.
• Liaise with drivers, transport providers, and customers regarding deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy within the stores department.
• Assist with stock receiving, checking, and inventory control.
• Ensure goods are dispatched safely, securely, and on time.
• Capture and update information on Accpac.
• Investigate and resolve dispatch discrepancies or customer queries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stores environment.
• Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties as required.

• Monday to Thursday: 07h30 16h30
• Friday: 07h30 13h30
• Occasional overtime may be required.
