Sapientis is seeking an experienced, high-energy Service Advisor for a flagship corporate motor dealership in Pretoria North. If you are a technical communicator who thrives on delivering a 5-star customer experience and has a proven track record with the high volume brands (eg Ford, Toyota etc), we want to hear from you.

The Role

As the face of the service department, you will bridge the gap between the workshop and the customer. You will manage the entire service journey - from the first booking to the final handover - ensuring that every vehicle meets high franchise standards while driving department profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Journey: Greet customers, diagnose service needs, and provide professional technical advice.
• Workflow Coordination: Schedule bookings and liaise with Technicians/Foremen to ensure on-time delivery.
• Technical Administration: Prepare accurate job cards and invoices; manage warranty claims and service plans via Evolve, Kerridge, or Automate or similar
• Revenue Growth: Drive profitability through the upselling of maintenance plans, accessories, and necessary repairs.
• CSI Excellence: Maintain top-tier Customer Service Index scores by ensuring every client feels valued and informed.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a Service Advisor role within a corporate motor dealership.
• Brand Knowledge: High volume brands like VW / Ford / Toyota etc
• Systems: Proficiency in Evolve, Kerridge, or Automate preferred.
• Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of vehicle components and the ability to explain repairs to non-technical customers.
• License: Valid Drivers License and clear criminal record are essential.
