Health & safety administrator (fmcg industry) - Howick

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced HEALTH & SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR (FMCG INDUSTRY) for a well-established concern, position based in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Degree or Diploma in Administration (or similar) is a requirement.

Ability to converse in isiZulu would be advantageous.

Drivers license / own reliable vehicle.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel / MS Word & MS PowerPoint skills.

Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, ISO45001 and HIRA would be advantageous.

Incumbent would need to have attention to detail and an ability to work independently.

Possible experience would include administrative roles, with exposure to H&S being advantageous.

Assist the Health & Safety Manager through ensuring that all H&SMS tasks and required administration work is up to date.

Dealing with the cost of signage, PPE and health and safety related expenditure items can amount to a significant rand value. Ensure that adequate controls are in place to maintain the required minimum and maximum stock levels.

This role will initially be focused on administration tasks, with scope for the incumbent to grow through increasing H&S knowledge.

Experience in an FMCG environment is advantageous.
