Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with 2+ years relevant work experience in planning / schedule of trucks
- Experience with scheduling -based IT systems advantageous
- Strong communication skills and personality
- Valid drivers and own transport
- Fluency in both English and Afrikaans
- Good work ethic and of sober habits
- Willing to take annual leave during December construction shutdown period
- Resident in the Northern suburbs
- Must have strong personality and be good communicator on email, phone & WhatsApp
- Work hours : M-Th (7am-5pm/5.30pm) & Friday till 3pm
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays on occasion
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Taking orders telephonically
- Planning and coordinating the daily order book
- Generating quotes and orders
- Ensure delivery correctness
- Arrange orders as per preference
- Scheduling of deliveries
- Handle customer complaints and manage feedback
Salary: R20 000 per month dependent on experience (provident after probation & 13th Cheque)
