QC Inspector Level II

• You will have a tertiary qualification as a Level II Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1), coupled with 3-5 years experience as a QC Inspector,
• Sound understanding of fabrication specifications ASME, IX, AWS, etc
• Sound Understanding of NDE methods and reporting (MT, PT, RT and UT)
• Sound understanding of fabrication processes such as Welding, cutting, etc
• Prior experience in oil & gas, riser and drilling equipment operations and specifications
• You will have proven experience in reading technical drawings, coupled with the abilities to problem solve and provide corrective action solutions
• You will be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, coupled with the ability to write detailed reports on issues and corrective actions, as well as liaise with suppliers and project managers to ensure the utmost highest quality fabrications.
• The ability to travel extensively is essential, therefore a valid passport will be required
• You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
