Financial Marketing Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Marketing Consultant with all communication duties to ensure compliance with the company's marketing strategy and brand.
• Assist in identifying marketing opportunities.
• Develop and execute ad hoc campaigns as required by the business support wealth managers.
• Provide Wealth Managers (client facing team members) with consistent immediate support with branding material, access to marketing information and support.
• Assist with tasks for corporate events to ensure smooth running events, manage and track expenses.
• Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range goals to be achieved.
• Draft copy for mailers, social media, and other marketing channels, to promote the event to potential exhibitors and sponsors.
• Experience with LinkedIn profile administration
• Manage the websites of the group and ensure all information is relevant and accurate. WIX knowledge and SEO skills beneficial. Make sure all relevant media is uploaded to the website and website function optimally
• Administer bulk mail system (Mailchimp)
• DTP and design work where necessary for the teams.
• Inventory management of branded items and marketing material

Requirements and Key Attributes:

• 3 years experience in generalist marketing, including digital marketing, internal and external branding, design and desk top publishing, event management and some copy writing (proof reading).
• Some experience within financial services will be advantageous
• Tertiary qualification in marketing
• Microsoft Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook & PowerPoint), Canva or other design software, Adobe, SharePoint, Mailchimp
• Energetic, self-starter who can work independently and within a team.
• Creative and proactive
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills in English and editorial skills to write, edit, proofread, publish and share engaging content.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to distil complex ideas into accessible copy for different audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills.
