Financial manager

A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role within a complex, multi-entity environment, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of financial management, costing, and commercial support within a high-volume operational business.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Duties:
- Full financial management function including P&L ownership and reporting
- Cost accounting with strong focus on BOMs and production costing
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Financial analysis and business performance reporting
- Management of multi-entity financial environments
- Strengthening internal controls and financial processes
- Supporting operational decision-making with financial insights
Education and experience:
- CIMA qualification (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 8 years experience in a financial management role
- Strong background in manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven experience with costing systems and BOM
- Sage Evolution experience highly preferred
