Creditors Clerk

Quantum Insights is a leading financial services company that provides customized solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Creditors Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to our suppliers. Your main duties will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with vendors to resolve any payment discrepancies.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. You must also possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues and maintain good relationships
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Provide support to the finance team as needed
• Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
