Printer Technician (Printing Devices)

Job Description:

An opportunity is available for a Low to Mid Volume Technician based in Mthatha. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining low to mid-volume printing devices, ensuring optimal performance and providing excellent technical service to clients.

Education and Experience:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Valid driver’s licence
• Proven experience working with low to mid-volume printing equipment (Colour and Mono)
• Good understanding of IT systems and connectivity
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel when required

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair low to mid-volume colour and mono printing devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and connectivity issues related to printers and associated systems.
• Provide technical support to customers and ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on machines.
• Ensure all service calls and tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and effective service.
• Work collaboratively within the technical support team to ensure service excellence.
• Travel to client sites as required.
