Assistant Accountant

Working Hours: Monday to Friday. 08h00 to 16h30. 100% On-site

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain and deliver accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance and timely completion
• Compile and issue proof of payments for processed transactions
• Review and authorise payments with attention to accuracy and documentation
• Manage cash books, commissions, and payment allocations meticulously
• Handle queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate and a Diploma or Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Accounting, essential
• Proficiency in Pastel Accounting and MS 365
• 1-2 Years of experience in a similar financial role
• Strong understanding of financial controls and principles
