Key Responsibilities:

• Review and accurately code diagnostic imaging studies in accordance with industry guidelines.
• Process medical billing transactions and ensure timely month-end completion.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and queries.
• Conduct data integrity and billing accuracy checks.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operational teams.
• Maintain accurate patient and billing records.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the billing function.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and billing standards

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within the medical or healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Medical Coding qualification or relevant healthcare qualification advantageous.
• Experience within Medical Coding, Radiology, Medical Billing, Clinical Administration, or RIS environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
