Senior General Foreman – Concrete Structural Building Project 📍 Location: Near Airport Industria, Cape Town 🏗️ Project Type: Large-Scale Concrete Structural Development

A well-established construction company is looking for a Senior General Foreman to take the lead on a major concrete building structure project based near Airport Industria, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in heavy concrete works and structural building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all site activities, ensuring daily progress, productivity, and safety.
• Direct and manage teams of foremen, artisans, labourers, and subcontractors.
• Interpret drawings, coordinate concrete works, formwork, rebar, and structural sequencing.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day construction activities and resource allocation.
• Report progress and challenges to the Site Agent and Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years experience in building construction, with at least 5 years in a Senior General Foreman role.
• Strong background in concrete structural building (multi-storey preferred).
• Excellent technical knowledge of formwork, steel fixing, and concrete placement.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing large teams and working under pressure.
