Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full finance function
- Able to map processes, identify risks and inefficiencies and report back on them
- Experience in preparing AFS and tax reconciliations
- Good understanding of IFRS and Tax legislation
- Experience in reviewing recons and ensuring they meet timelines and are accurate
- Logical and methodical in approach
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Oversee audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights to management
- Review reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet controls
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department
- Support commercial and operational teams with financial guidance
- Mentor and supervise junior finance staff
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Completed SAICA article
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
