IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line IT support to internal users (hardware, software, and cloud-based systems)
  • Manage and support Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Intune environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server and Linux systems
  • Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services
  • Monitor systems, alerts, backups, and overall environment health
  • Assist with user access management, permissions, and security controls
  • Support email security and endpoint protection platforms (e.g. Mimecast, Defender)
  • Assist with SharePoint administration and user access
  • Work with IT and security teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and compliance
  • Document support processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Experience:

  • 0-2 years' experience in an IT Support / Systems Support role (IT graduates will be considered).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AD)
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune
  • Solid troubleshooting and user support skills
  • Basic understanding of cloud environments and networking

Advantageous Skills:

  • Experience with Mimecast, FortiGate, or Fortinet
  • Exposure to Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and LAPS
  • Experience with SharePoint and Jira
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Cloud
  • Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel or SOC environments
  • Basic understanding of KQL (Kusto Query Language)

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
