Senior Accountant - Johannesburg

With a firm footprint in the South African market, and ambitious growth targets, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their high-performing finance team in Johannesburg Central.

As a Financial Accountant, youll take ownership of core financial functions while working closely with operations teams to ensure alignment of the financial strategy and day-to-day execution.

Duties:

• Preparing accurate and insightful management accounts, monthly
• Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Delivering timely financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Conducting variance analysis and presenting findings to senior leadership
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to drive cost efficiencies and profitability

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Experience:
• Minimum 23 years of post-articles experience, outside of the audit environment
• Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and management accounting
