Accounts Assistant/Junior Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing of quotes and invoices
  • Capturing and processing supplier bills
  • Assisting with general accounting and administrative duties
  • Following up on account queries where required
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Preparing Daily payments Schedules & Sending out proof of payments
  • Any Adhoc tasks
  • Daily reconciliation of customer accounts
Minimum Requirements
  • Basic bookkeeping/accounting knowledge
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero experience will be advantageous)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in an accounts/admin environment will be beneficial

Salary: Annual package of R180 000 R240 000, depending on experience.
