Senior Financial Manager
A well-established organisation based in Johannesburg North is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a high-level role, managing complex financial functions while engaging with external stakeholders and multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engagement with external auditors and oversee audit processes
- Prepare annual financial statements in line with IFRS
- Handle VAT and income tax requirements
- Manage insurance claims and fraud-related matters
- Oversee local tenders and financial input
- Work with pension funds and loan structures
- Ensure accurate monthly reporting and preparation of management accounts
- Compile reporting packs for stakeholders
- Manage budgets and monitor financial performance
- Lead and manage finance teams across projects
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience within Financial Services is advantageous
- Proven management experience and ability to lead teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
