Business Intelligence Engineer, Telecoms Software Systems
This is not a pure reporting role. Youll be working inside active telecoms environments, using data to troubleshoot, analyse, and improve systems that are constantly in motion.
Were looking for a sharp, technically-minded individual who enjoys digging into problems, understanding how systems behave, and figuring out why something isnt working the way it should.
Key Responsibilities
Data Investigation & AnalysisWrite SQL queries to extract, analyse, and interpret data to diagnose issues and support decision-making.
System TroubleshootingInvestigate and resolve software and data-related issues within telecoms applications.
Application SupportWork with web-based systems, supporting and maintaining environments (ASP.NET exposure beneficial).
Stakeholder InteractionEngage with internal teams and clients to understand problems and deliver practical solutions.
Continuous ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve system performance.
Minimum Requirements
QualificationBSc or BEng degree
Experience12 years experience preferred, strong graduates will be considered
Required Skills
Strong SQL capability, comfortable writing queries and working with dataStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Understanding of web-based systems
Exposure to .NET environments advantageous
Scripting exposure (Python, Perl, etc.) beneficial
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients
