Procurement Officer

This role ensures cost-effective procurement, contract compliance, and on-time delivery through end-to-end coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Matric
• Bachelor's Degree: in Business, Commerce, IT or related field
• CIPS Diploma

• Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement

• Strong negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• ERP experience (Oracle/Sage/SAP)
• Clear criminal record

• Process purchase requisitions and ensure they align with approved specifications and budgets
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing vendors to ensure cost competitiveness
• Prepare & float RFQs, conduct bid analysis, and issue purchase orders in ERP systems
• Ensure timely delivery by monitoring and following up on outstanding POs
• Address and resolve vendor disputes regarding quality, warranty, and delivery
• Draft and amend supplier contracts, agreements, and SLAs in line with business needs
• Maintain and update the preferred supplier list and ensure vendor compliance
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify procurement process optimizations
• Ensure full compliance with company Procurement Policy and Code of Conduct
