The Role: Project Supervisor The Project Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and oversight of all customer-related projects to ensure their successful implementation. This role focuses on maintaining high work quality, adhering to strict timeframes, and managing on-site activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute current and future customer projects seamlessly, utilizing a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Supervisor.
- Liaise directly with customers to manage expectations and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders via email, face-to-face, or telephone.
- Partner with suppliers and the internal team to guarantee all planned project timelines are met.
- Lead weekly meetings prior to and during the project lifecycle, and conduct thorough post-mortem reviews upon project completion.
- Provide agile, on-site problem solving while managing overall work quality and strict project timeframes.
- Direct, supervise, and manage sub-contractors on-site.
- Oversee strict safety management and compliance control across all sites.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Supervisor is required.
- Matric qualification and a Code 08 driver's licence are essential.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, and completion of Microsoft compliance courses are required.
- Practical, hands-on industrial installation experience and a demonstrated background functioning effectively as a project supervisor are essential.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and an intuitive, proactive mindset.
- Highly self-motivated with efficient working practices and a proactive willingness to learn.
- Industrial Process factory experience, an Industrial Engineering background, Trade Certification, and project management courses are desirable.
- Afrikaans language skills are desirable
