Engineering Manager (Expat)

Our client is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and oversee engineering functions, ensuring operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves managing engineering projects, optimizing production processes, and driving innovation within the organization.

• Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance operational performance.
• Oversee the capital and expense budgets for engineering operations.
• Manage daily engineering activities, ensuring efficiency in production systems and compliance with quality standards.
• Lead and motivate the engineering team, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, machine availability, and cost-saving measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain and optimize critical operational infrastructure, including cold chain units, ice plants, and lake operations.
• Ensure timely procurement and stocking of critical operational spares.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational capabilities.
• Provide engineering reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making.

• Technical expertise in engineering systems, design, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of project management and process optimization.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and cost control.

• High level of analytical and operational planning skills.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in an engineering management role.
• Training in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Advanced Excel for Engineers is an advantage.

• Masters degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering Certification is required.
