The successful applicant should be a creative, organised, and social-savvy content creator with the ability to manage and grow the online presence of a dynamic portfolio of brands.The role involves collaborating with design and sales teams, monitoring performance metrics, and optimising content to boost engagement and grow each brand’s online presence. What Is Required:
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Social Media Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand’s identity and ensuring its message resonates across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, marketing, and project management, who can elevate our brand through compelling campaigns.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media not essential but preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in social media management or coordination, preferably within the hospitality or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to each platform.
- Content scheduling, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is advantageous.
- Valid drivers’ licence and own roadworthy vehicle.
