A well-established premium wine and hospitality destination in Simondium is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager with a rare blend of commercial thinking and hands-on digital execution.
This role suits a marketing professional who enjoys working across strategy, sales performance, and content creation, and who is comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, owner-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & Social Media- Plan, create, and publish short-form video content across Instagram, TikTok, and related platforms
- Film and edit content in-house using mobile-based tools
- Monitor social trends and apply them selectively to suit a premium brand
- Manage daily interaction across social platforms, including comments, messages, and tagged content
- Deliver targeted digital campaigns aimed at specific international and seasonal markets
- Align marketing initiatives with available wine inventory and sales priorities
- Develop and execute campaigns that support direct-to-consumer sales
- Support growth and retention of the wine club or membership programme
- Improve e-commerce performance through traffic growth, conversion optimisation, and email marketing
- Implement initiatives to convert on-site guests into digital leads
- Support occupancy and revenue targets for accommodation and hospitality offerings
- Collaborate with hospitality management to address seasonal demand gaps via digital channels
- Ensure consistent brand presentation across all digital and printed materials
- Coordinate with internal teams across wine production, hospitality, and food & beverage partners
- Maintain a premium brand standard across all customer touchpoints
Requirements:
- 46+ years experience in marketing, ideally within wine, hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle sectors
- A portfolio of social media or video content created personally (required)
- Strong mobile video filming and editing capability
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
- Email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and basic paid social advertising
- Commercially minded with a focus on measurable outcomes
- Comfortable working in a family-owned or entrepreneurial business environment
