Warehouse Supervisor/Administrator

Overview:

A leading company in the transportation and logistics sector is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at its Bryanston facility. This is a fixed-term contract role suited to a hands-on professional with strong leadership and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate stock control processes.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and training.
• Maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies and regulations.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency, identifying areas for process improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer requirements.
• Manage documentation and reporting related to warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with transport and logistics teams to ensure smooth distribution flow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in the FMCG or distribution environment.
