Job Description
Our client is seeking a Digital Content Administrator to join their team who will assist in updating and managing their portal platform, creating visually appealing marketing materials and supporting day-to-day marketing tasks. The role focuses on content execution, design implementation and platform updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portal Management
- Upload and update product content, documents, itineraries and media.
- Assist in structuring pages and improving user experience.
- Ensure product information is accurate and visually engaging.
- Perform basic HTML updates.
- Systems Maintenance
- Be responsible for sourcing and updating imagery for 3rd party systems.
- Take full ownership of the design, content, imagery and maintenance of the company intranet
- Design & Creative Content
- Create graphics, social cards and layouts.
- Select strong imagery.
- Support training materials and presentations.
- Newsletter Support
- Assist with designing quarterly newsletters.
- Prepare layout, visuals and formatting.
- Social Media Assistance
- Provide design support for posts.
- Upload and schedule content.
- General Marketing Administration
- Maintain content libraries.
- Support product updates and ad-hoc projects.
- Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
- 1 4 years of proven experience in a digital marketing role focusing on social media management and content creation.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) for website updates.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant digital content, social media campaigns and writing samples is highly desirable.
Skills
Essential:
- Strong design sensibility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver & InDesign as well as Canva.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp.
- Ability to select strong imagery.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
Advantageous:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Tourism experience.
- Photographic experience.
- Basic copywriting skills.
