German Speaking Bookkeeper to Trial Balance

• Location: Negotiable (Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Remote)
• Salary: R35 000 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience)

• About the Role:

You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial support, including:

• Processing monthly transactions (suppliers, debtors, fixed assets, journals, and bank reconciliations)
• Preparing monthly reconciliations and payment runs
• Assisting with admin tasks and reporting to the Senior Accountant
• Communicating confidently with clients and stakeholders in both English and German
• What You’ll Need:
• Fluency in German (read, write, and speak) – non-negotiable
• Proven experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using digital platforms like MS Teams
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Xero (training provided if needed)
• Exposure to a multi-client accounting environment
• Experience working with international clients
