Role Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Professional registration with ECSA, or actively working towards registration, will be advantageous
Minimum 5 years experience within an industrial control environment
Minimum 3 years experience in PLC and DCS programming
Minimum 3 years experience in control loop tuning and optimisation
Strong understanding of electrical engineering, instrumentation, and automatic control systems
Good understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
Knowledge of national and international electrical equipment standards and regulations
Experience with Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional, Schneider Unity Pro, or similar PLC platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN will be advantageous
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels
