Psychometrist

A Southern Suburbs Psychology Practice is seeking a competent registered Psychometrist to join our

dynamic therapeutic team in Claremont, Cape Town. The role entails providing clinical psychometric

assessment services for children, adolescents, & adults together with our team of Psychologists and

Psychometrists. The role is fast-paced and requires someone who can manage competing deadlines

without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent
• Psychometrist.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in psychometric assessment.
• Self-starting, taking initiative, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Comfortable working with all age groups (children, adolescents & adults).
• Willingness to learn new test batteries and adapt to different client populations.
• Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail in scoring, data recording, and report writing.
• Ability to write high-quality, accurate reports efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and genuine drive to grow.

Special Note:

On-the-job training will be provided to willing & capable candidates with a proven track record for

independent learning.

Working Hours:

• 9 am to 5 pm weekdays
• Candidates should be open to working after hours until 7 pm
• Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm, to be discussed.
