UX/UI Designer
This role is hands-on, involving research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will gain exposure to product strategy, design systems, and emerging technologies, building the foundation for a career in product design.
Responsibilities & ActivitiesDesign Execution
Produce high-quality UX and UI deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs.
Apply established design systems and contribute to their evolution to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and developers.
User Research & Insights
Assist in conducting user research, such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to understand user behaviours and needs.Analyse research findings and support the creation of personas, journey maps, and other user-centred artifacts.
Benchmark competitors and industry best practices to inform design decisions.
Interaction & Visual DesignDefine information architecture, user flows, and interaction models for clear and intuitive experiences.
Develop low- to mid-fidelity wireframes and translate them into polished UI designs.
Build interactive prototypes to test concepts and gather feedback from users and stakeholders.
Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with Product Owners, developers, and other designers to deliver features that meet business and user needs.
Participate in agile ceremonies, providing design input to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Present design concepts and rationale to peers and stakeholders in a clear, engaging manner.
Support team knowledge sharing by documenting design decisions and contributing to case studies or design showcases.
Testing & Continuous ImprovementAssist with usability testing and A/B testing to validate design solutions.
Apply insights from data, user feedback, and testing to improve product experiences.
Stay current with UX/UI trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve skills and practice.
