A well-established manufacturing company based in Germiston is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their finance team and oversee 3 staff. This role is ideally suited to a hands-on individual who is comfortable managing the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance and working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to handle pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full bookkeeping function (Books to Trial Balance)
  • Debtors and Creditors management
  • Bank and cashbook reconciliations
  • Processing journals
  • VAT and statutory submissions
  • Assisting with month-end procedures
  • Preparing information for auditors
  • General financial administration
  • Oversee team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Min 5 years bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working on accounting software (e.g. Sage / Pastel / Xero / similar)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with VAT and reconciliations
  • Relevant qualification (advantageous but not essential)
