Internal Sales Representative

The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Understanding customer needs and requirements
• Understanding company services
• Generating quotations
• Basic understanding of the sales process
• Processing and tracking of orders
• Answering incoming calls and taking messages
• re-directing calls to the correct sales representative
• Internally communicating important feedback/information from customers
• Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails
• Re-directing emails to the correct sales representative
• Following up on customer queries and leads
• Completing of vendor forms
• Tender administration and tracking

Key Requirements: A Science degree and minimum 1 year experience within a scientific/laboratory environment.

Additional Requirements: Negotiation, good administration, planning and organising, time management, problem solving, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills are required. Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel).
