The company is seeking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Financial Manager to lead and manage the finance function.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, and managing a finance team. This position is ideal for a hands-on Financial Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can add value through strong financial control and commercial insight.Exposure to the logistics environment would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial management function, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes
- Managing financial reporting and analysis for management and stakeholders
- Ensuring that statutory compliance, taxation, and audit requirements are met
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Managing and mentoring finance staff
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- BCom degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- 35 years experience in a Financial Manager or similar management role
- Proven experience managing a finance team
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
- Logistics industry experience will be advantageous
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
