Corporate Governance & Administrative Officer, 2 month contract, East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • National Diploma in Administration / Commerce / Arts
  • 3+ years working experience of which 2 years must be at an executive support, administrative, general office management or related secretariat role

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Completion of COR39 and submission thereof
  • Compiling company registers and providing good governance support
  • Receive and draft correspondence responses
  • Admin support to company secretary
  • Draft minutes
  • Facilitate payments and arrange logistics for governance office
  • Screen calls and handle enquiries
  • File and retrieve documents
  • Organize and attend meetings
  • Coordinate procurement processes and generate orders / payments
  • Maintain / distribute resolutions and compile governance status reports
  • Acknowledge correspondence and assist staff with adhering to regulatory frameworks
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements and maintain good relations with travel agents
  • Coordinate processing subsistence & travel claims
  • Organize / arrange functions / workshops
  • Arrangement stakeholder appointments
  • Follow up or confirm attendance with all required attendees
  • Ensure completion of attendance registers

Salary: R219 500 R290 500 per annum
