Job Description:
- Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
- Process daily financial transactions accurately and timeously
- Perform bank reconciliations and cashbook processing
- Manage creditors and debtors reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices and payments
- Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist with month-end reporting requirements
- Perform VAT reconciliations and support submissions
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' of Bookkeeping experience
- Experience within Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG or other high-volume transaction environments
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles up to trial balance
- Experience working with banking platforms and online payment systems
- Good Excel skills
- Strong reconciliation abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Qualification:
- Matric essential
- Certificate, Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance advantageous
