RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a highly skilled Professional Architect with experience in the construction industry to join their team. As a Professional Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of various projects.
This includes new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of architectural projects from concept to completion
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery
• Create detailed architectural designs, including blueprints and specifications
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Review and approve drawings and designs from vendors, clients, and other design disciplines
• Oversee and manage construction activities, including site visits, progress monitoring, and issue resolution
• Stay updated on architectural trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior architects
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an Architect
• Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
