FHBC has an opportunity for Accountants at the Somerset West and Wellington office.The ideal candidate has:A tertiary qualification in BAccounting or BComm;Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles;Continued professional membership and adherence to CPD requirements;OR at least 5 years relevant accounting experience (ideally in an accounting firm).The ideal candidate is someone who:Values ethical adherence;Has high regard for excellence in service delivery;Builds positive and value adding relationships with clients and colleagues;Works with integrity;Respects the professional framework within which we work;Is computer literate in Sage Pastel, Xero, MS Office, SARS e-filing;Experience in Draftworx will be beneficial;Is fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (verbally and in writing) (REQUIREMENT)The successful candidate will work with diverse clients and take responsibility for some of the following tasks (based on preference for either compilation of financial statements or monthly processing of accounting work):Monthly processing of accounting work;IFRS for SME’s;Financial statements;E-filing;Preparation of files for independent reviews and audits;Tax, VAT and PAYE.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Bachelors (Required)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Language:Afrikaans & English (Required)
