Citrus Packhouse Assistant

Minimum requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in agriculture or related field is a plus
• Previous experience working in a citrus packhouse or similar fresh produce packing facility
• Strong knowledge of citrus fruit varieties, grading standards, and packing procedures
• Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control and food safety
• Familiarity with equipment used in packhouse operations, such as conveyor systems, sorting machines, and packaging equipment
• Managing the GlobalGAP in the packhouse
