A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their son aged 3 years old Area:
• Barbeque Downs Children’s Ages: 3 Years Old (Non
• Verbal) Working hours: Monday to Friday 15h00
• 19h00 School holiday / Sick day hours: Monday
• Friday: 08:00
• 19:00 / Flexible Duties: Meet child at home.
Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Bath time routine, Prepare meals for the child.
Accompany to therapies in the afternoon, they will need to follow through at home as well so someone that is a fast learner and understands how to implement therapy learning at home.
Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement) Special Requirements: Experience with special needs is required, knowledge of Macaton sign language would be beneficial.
Early childhood development qualification required.
Patient, calm, active to keep up with his fast pace.
Ideally female, younger, lots of energy.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP – Permanent contract Salary: R12 500
• R13 000 per month plus petrol (SARS Rates per km).
A higher salary is being offered to cover the school holidays hours as well.
Candidates will be compensated the higher salary range through the year and overtime will only be paid for evening / weekend babysitting as the salary incorporates school term and school holiday hours.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years. ****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references. ****Must have a clear criminal record ****Must have a passion for children ****Must have Matric ****Must have a South African ID document. FRAUDULENT CV'S ARE PUNISHABLE BY LAW. ALL REFERENCES ARE CHECKED AND FAKE REFERENCES WILL BE UNCOVERED
