Job Description

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen and a passion for service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue management: Maximize food and beverage revenue, control costs and ensure profitability.
  • Inventory control: Manage stock levels, minimize wastage and maintain accurate POS records.
  • Team leadership: Supervise restaurant staff, recruit and onboard new employees and manage performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety, health and audit standards.
  • Service excellence: Deliver seamless dining experiences, respond to guest feedback and uphold brand standards.
  • Administration: Oversee departmental procedures, rostering and reporting.
  • Innovation: Identify and implement new ideas to enhance service, efficiency and product offerings.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 plus Diploma in Food & Beverage Management (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years in a junior supervisory role within hospitality/restaurant sector.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite); POS and inventory system experience advantageous.
  • SASA Junior Sommelier Certificate or higher is an advantage.
