Financial Advisor

The role requires a confident, client-focused professional with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review client portfolios, providing professional financial advice.
• Prospect and acquire new clients to grow the portfolio.
• Deliver financial products and services in a professional and client-focused manner.
• Collaborate with Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and internal departments to resolve client queries.
• Maintain regular client communication and build long-term relationships.
• Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs.
• Provide advice on investments, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimisation.
• Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.
• Network with professionals, attend industry events, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare regular reports for clients and management.

Requirements:

• Matric with tertiary qualification in Finance (NQF5: Wealth Management / BCom) Non-negotiable
• RE5 certification Non-negotiable
• Relevant Class of Business certifications in place
• Fit and Proper status required
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Financial Planning role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software
• Experience with professionals and high-net-worth clients
• Drivers license and own vehicle Non-negotiable
• Existing client book not required

Remuneration: Basic salary R30 000 R40 000 plus commission.
