Cashbook Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily cashbook transactions across multiple bank accounts
• Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances
• Process EFT payments and banking transactions
• Support month-end reporting and financial reconciliations
• Assist with audit queries and compliance requirements
• Rotate across multiple bank accounts to support business continuity
• Ensure deadlines, controls, and financial procedures are consistently met

Job Experience and Skills:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2 to 3 years' experience in a cashbook-focused role
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience on Navision / Business Central 365 advantageous
• Accpac experience advantageous
• Sound understanding of cashbook processing and bank reconciliations
• General understanding of VAT principles
• Energetic, organised, analytical and eager to learn and grow
