Financial Accountant

Company and Job Description:
You'll be part of a high-performing finance team, supporting the financial management and reporting functions of a rapidly evolving ISP business. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders to drive financial performance and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
- Assist with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Maintain general ledger integrity and support audit processes
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on business performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Assist with process improvements and financial controls
- Collaborate with operational teams to support strategic business initiatives
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Strong financial reporting and IFRS knowledge
- High attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- 35 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Experience within Telecommunications, ISP, Technology, ICT, or related industries advantageous
- ERP system experience beneficial
