Financial Accountant
A well-established organization in the construction industry is seeking a skilled and hands-on Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid technical accounting foundation and a strong understanding of construction financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial function, including GL, recons, TB and FS preparation
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Support the month-end and year-end processes
- Perform financial analysis and assist with reporting requirements
- Assist with implementing best-practice finance processes
- Work closely with operational teams within the construction environment
- Ensure that BuildSmart records and reporting are accurate and up to date
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom qualification essential
- 35 years accounting experience
- Construction industry experience required
- Strong BuildSmart (construction) exposure
- Solid knowledge of GL, recons, TB and FS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to operate in a structured, deadline-driven environment
