Financial Accountant
A reputable and established name in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their high-performing finance team based in Centurion.
This permanent opportunity is ideal for a technically strong and detail-oriented finance professional looking to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, project-driven environment. You will play a key role in accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting processes, and ensuring effective financial management across multiple projects and divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Provide analytical insights to improve financial accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Assist with project accounting and cost tracking within the construction environment
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom degree (Accounting or Finance)
- 35 years' experience in a full-function accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability, and analytical skills
- Experience within the construction industry will be highly advantageous
- Exposure to the Full Finance Function (General Ledgers / Recons / Trial Balance) processes
