PROJECTS MANAGER – Fire and Security Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage installation projects from start to completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate technicians, site supervisors, contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, costs, quality and deadlines.
• Manage risks, delays and changes in project scope.
• Conduct site visits and attend project meetings.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety and technical standards.
• Resolve project challenges and escalate major risks.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with technical or business-related subjects.
• Relevant Project Management qualification preferred.
• At least two years relevant project management experience, or five years senior project management experience without a formal qualification.
• Experience in fire detection, fire suppression, security systems or technical installations.
• Valid drivers license.
• SAQCC registration is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-management ability.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
