Qualified Passenger Vehicle Technician - Northeast Johannesburg

Duties:

• Responsible for diagnosing vehicle concerns and suggesting workable solutions
• Diagnose, maintenance, repair vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations
• Perform advanced removals and replacements, and diagnostic work accurately according to daily work orders as received from manager
• Assist managers with daily operation of the facility through pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, shop organization and supervision of other members of the service department
• Knows, understands, and performs all duties of all Technician roles
• Adhere to all manufacturer standards
• Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools
• Perform work of other members of the service department if business necessitates
• Perform any other duties either necessary for customer service or perceived by or assigned to the job
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Drivers License
• Qualified Technician with a minimum of 3 years previous experience repairing, servicing, and maintaining Passenger Vehicles in the role of Qualified Technician, in a dealership environment
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
• The suitable candidate MUST BE RED SEAL CERTIFIED
• Kia / Hyundai brand experience would be advantageous
• Automotive Industry Experience ESSENTIAL!!
